Submetering Services

Reliance provides submeter equipment installation and maintenance, as well as meter reading, billing, collection services.  Individual meters are installed in each unit and linked through a wireless system allowing for meter reading.  Submetering enables residents to be directly responsible for their own consumption and their utility expenses, leading to a dramatic reduction in consumption.


Ratio Utility Billing Services (RUBS)

If your property isn’t suitable for submetering or you don’t want to make the investment in submeter equipment, Reliance can divide utility costs equitably among residents using an industry accepted RUBS formula.  Reliance can work with you to decide which method is best for your property.


Convergent Billing Services

Reliance can create a single statement for your residents that contains all applicable utility and lease charges.  In addition to utilities, charges may include rent, pet fees, cable, internet, trash, parking, pest control, etc.
